Play, Imagine, Save, Succeed!

Hi- Patty and Sarah here, we are the creators of the College Savings Doll series. We have worked hard to get the company up and running. We will be debuting our 1st doll, “Deanna”, in the spring of 2013.

Patty is a financial guru & Mom, who had the idea that little girls needed to create goals for themselves while they had fun playing. She loved playing with her “Velvet” doll in the 70’s, little sister of “Chrissy”. At that time, all girls had for role models were models like “Barbie” dolls.  Patty wanted a doll that was realistic as well as goal oriented, based on real girls bodies and real college saving situations.

Sarah is a former educator who has seen many girls struggle over the years with the “body-image” issue having a hard time viewing themselves as beautiful & enough just as they are.  Girls are often challenged by media images of perfection & do not have realistic positive images as role models.

Unlike Patty, Sarah was a fan of the “Dina” and “Brandi” dolls as well as anything miniature.

Take a look at our blast from the past! Thanks to you tube!

Love this! I was just talking to a friend the other day about body image issues needing to be addressed early! I think it’s a great idea and I look forward to buying a doll for my niece come fall! Maybe one day you’ll debut an adventure girl? 😉

That’s a wonderful idea, and message! Young girls should learn to respect themselves first and foremost. Body image is such a big deal, distorted by the media. They should learn the truth, they are so much more than the body!

Great to meet you at the New York Toy Fair earlier this year. Fun and focused ladies with an inspiring product which fills an educational and toy retail gap in the market, I wish you lots of success!
